In this tutorial I will show you the short cut keys for some operations in Blender. Modelling or anything will be faster if you learn this keyboard shortcut keys. You can do things very faster. So learn this as your second nature. You can Search in this post by pressing CTRL + F to find your Shortcut key.


  • Selecting Objects : LEFT CLICK
  • Clear Selection : CLICK ANY WHERE IN THE SCENE
  • Object Context Menu : Right Click
  • Pan your view : LEFT SHIFT + MIDDLE MOUSE BUTTON
  • Zoom in and out your view : MOUSE SCROLL WHEEL
  • Orbit / Rotate your view : MIDDLE MOUSE BUTTON
  • Insert Keyframe : I
  • Delete Keyframe : LEFT ALT + I
  • Undo : LEFT CTRL + Z
  • Redo : LEFT SHIFT + LEFT CTRL + Z
  • Repeat last operation : LEFT SHIFT + R
  • Toggle Toolbar : T
  • Toggle Sidebar : N
  • Edit mode : TAB

  • Shrink / Flatten : LEFT ALT + S ( select all vertex in edit mode first)
  • Merge vertex : LEFT ALT + M
  • Slide Vertex / Edge : G (Double tap on G)
  • Triangulate Face : LEFT CTRL + T
  • Unwrap UV : U
  • Inset Face : I
  • New edge / face from vertices : F
  • Place the 3D cursor anywhere : LEFT SHIFT + RIGHT CLICK
  • Render Image : F12
  • Search : F3
  • Save : CTRL + S
  • Quick Favorites : Q 
  • Recalculate Normals : SHIFT + N
So these are the most used blender 2.8 shortcut keys. Currently Blender 2.8 is in beta state. So if they change some short cut keys I will notify you or make another post.
